Properly functioning controller for a very reasonable price.
I had seen some mixed reviews on this controller. Mainly good. I am glad I decided to go ahead with the purchase. It is a good product at a very reasonable price. On arrival, I removed it from the package and looked for any programming instructions. None were there. I loaded some batteries, took it over to the television and pressed the "on" button, and the television sprung into life. Tried a selection of buttons and all worked as expected. I couldn't have asked for more. I expect it was fully programmed, for Samsung televisions, by the supplier. This does have a "program guide" button, which works perfectly. Not sure how one of the other reviewers had said didn't have one! Overall, a controller that does exactly what it should, but at a very reasonable price. The replacement remote control does not have a guide button. The reason I bought it is because the guide button on my existing Samsung remote control has stopped working! Not genuine
I bought just to replace the battery cover on my original remote but unfortunate it’s not genuine. And the cover does not fit my original remote. Seems to work okay though. Although next to the original looks cheap. See picture for comparison.
