Not a bad product
I bought the NX2 4 months ago. I have a large inground pool. I like the way it goes around and sweeps the edges of the pool. It does capture the leaves, bugs and debris that falls in. On a full charge it will last most of the night. During the 4 months I noticed a slight decrease in the battery life. Not a problem but will monitor to see if there is any significant decrease. The one problem I do have is that the tray that catches the debris tends to fall out when you pick up the NX2. Do not pick it up on its side, it will dump all the debris back into the pool. It must be picked up horizontally. Also the tray if not properly installed will not capture the debris, it will shoot it out the back. The NX2 does maneuver around the pool well, it gets its self out of corners by reversing gears and traveling backwards for a short period. I could not give this product 5 stars due to the tray issue and the price. If I could have done 3.5 stars I would have. Not impressed
Quality seemed boarder line at best. Had to return because not compatible with our infinity edge, beach access or rock features. Would routinely get stuck on all 3. Furthermore, although the pattern should be random, when not stuck it would hang out in the shallow end where there are no leaves. I had high hopes but sadly was disappointed. Maybe in a pool that has no infinity edge, no beach access and no jetting rock features it would work. I needed this!
Our pool is close to three large trees that drop all sorts of debris into the water most of which floats for a while before sinking so a lot of time is spent netting debris and vacuuming. We have great sun exposure so this thing just runs and runs collecting all the visible debris and a lot of fine debris so it save a huge amount of time and effort - and costs nothing to run! This thing rocks!
Here in the Virgin Islands, we have lots of tropical insects and bushes. Our pool constantly had a layer of insects on it. Millions of them. The skimmer never could keep up, and a net was a constant chore. My Solar Breeze took TWO HOURS and the pool surface was clean. It's usable any time, any day. I haven't had it long enough to tell you about durability, but I did buy the two year warranty. Does it work? YES. Would I reccomend it, YES! Is it cheap, NO. Still evaluating
I have this for about 2 weeks. Its fair. The bad season is not here as yet and so this is an incomplete evaluation as I cannot evaluate it for the true reason for which I purchased it. Well Designed
Our pool collects desbris from several nearby trees and desert chaff that blows into it. This device definitely keeps the floating vegetation from sinking to the bottom, no question of that. Keeps the pool looking consistently clean as well. Has challenges with my pool due to the decorative rocks cast into the waterline, and occasionally becomes trapped in the space between the pool edge and the in-pool table. Mfgr is supplying a fix for the behavior around the rocks, can't comment on whether it works until I test it. Despite these challenges, and assuming the unit has good life, I am VERY happy I made this purchase, my pool looks as if the wind hasn't blown for days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works as advertised
Works well. If the Polaris is also in the pool at the same time cleaning the bottom, the Solar Breeze can get caught on the cord and stall a bit. We just try to make sure it's in the pool by itself when it cleans.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works well.
