Zoia is a powerhouse for guitar and synth players alike
I bought a Zoia to add effects and augment my existing modular system. Empress has an excellent track record creating modulation, time-based, and spatial effects, so I expected good things on that front. What I didn't expect is just how good and useful the onboard oscillators, filters, etc. would sound and how much connective utility the thing would have via MIDI. There's a truly silly amount of power in this small box, not just for people with synthesizers, but for guitarists. I was able to successfully replicate my meticulously curated pedalboard in one patch, with tap tempo switches to boot.

A dream machine
The possibilities are indeed endless... Which can be intimidating to begin with - but then you realize there's a great friendly community to help you in you first steps. But more to the product itself: Great quality effects, sturdy build, welcoming interface and a friendly user experience. You can create your own effect chains just to begin with... because actually this thing is a monster of a modular synth as well. Highly recommended to musicians, and not just for guitarists at all.
