Evolution 18 inch active speakers
Evolution 18 inch active speakers are a good buy. Great size nice and tidy excellent loud bass. Would defo buy again. Great for at home parties or dj events. Happy with the pair of speakers I received.

Light weight and do a reasonable job with bottom end sound. The rear recess plate is not recessed but flush with the speaker cabinet surface and the control knobs are vulnerable and likely to be knocked off. The fabric covering was short measure on the underside exposing the wood so workmanship is suspect. In the main I'm happy with them because they do the job at a reasonable price. Amazing sub woofer
I plugged in via the control room output of my mixer, set the input at half and the frequency about 50hz as my satellite speakers don't go below that, started to ramp up the main speakers to a really comfortable setting then dialed in the control room volume and oh my did the floor start to transmit a warm bass thumping away. Adjusted the frequency a little higher to overlap my other speakers and the sound was perfect. I have tons of headroom to pack a tighter punch if required. Cabinet is sturdy and light enough to carry by oneself. The only issue which has been noted many times by other people is the volume and frequency knobs are not recessed into the case so beware when storing it and using it. I have gotten some strong metal grating and shaped it I to _|----|_ shape and screwed it into the case to protect the knobs from getting damaged. It has a built in crossover which if you don't know what it is I shall explain, your main speakers have a hz range, the crossover filters out anything that is below the set range and pumps that through the sub speaker, therfore filling in the gap between 0 and the start of your main speakers range. Be sure to use a line out cable from mixing desk to go into the subwoofer, do not use a speaker output of an amp to go into it. For the price I paid my system is complete and will quite happily fill any venue with serious bass. You won't be disappointed getting this. If I had the room I'd get another one. This sub woofer will fit in the boot of a standard hatchback and room for a couple of bags either side. It's big but not too big. I'm looking forward to a long and happy relationship with this sub and won't hesitate in getting another one should the worst happen.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Cheap and cheerful.
If your looking for a home set-up or small venue sub that "looks the part" but doesnt cost the earth then this may just be the one. Just be warned as with most click-bate Chineseium eBay items, its NOT 1000 watts, not even at MAX output, its bearly even the 350watts it states in the description......at a push...150/200watts as it gives out very little bass you can hear over a normal speaker set-up. Its nicely built, feels sturdy and is quite heavy so will take being knocked about a bit. All in all, its right for the cheap price, but dont expect it to shake windows or blow people away. Amazing Sub !!
I just received 2 days ago this sub and is rellay amazing ! im satisfied with it !! im using in a big garden for house party and this is more then enough ! im using on 25% volume and it is loud already and the sound is fearlly amazing for this price !! So big thanks for Evolution company for this sub ! i really recommend to everyone who want a sub with nice bass but dosent wanna spend 1000 pounds on it ! for a house party or gardens party is perfect !

Seriously good value for money

Kicking Sub
Main point - the sound is excellent considering the low price. I had two of these providing the bass for bands and DJs at an outdoor party for 70 people and they kicked ass. Disadvantages: 1. It is cheaply made. One of the protective corner plates came loose after being dragged in and out of the van the first time. 2. Knobs on the back are not recessed, which makes them vulnerable to damage. 3. The speakers smell bad. Obviously put together with some cheap glue, and the room I'm storing them in now smells like a horse has decomposed in there. Over all though you can't argue with this level of bass for £100 or so. I could not reccomend it more
I tapped into the woofer and have been running it passive from a higher quality amp, and the sound is simply put as sublime. The bass is rich and punchy, exactly how I like it. The roll off for the frequency is perfect, and when I used the built in amplifier, I was equally as impressed. Best sub for the money
To be quite frank it’s advertised as 1000w peak. Your lucky to get 800w peak and maybe 300w rms. but besides that this is for sure the best pa 18” active sub on the market for its price. Asking as you are using a decent mixer the quality and spl is amazing.
