This seal is a replacement for the worn seal in the toilet cistern which is allowing the water to run into the toilet between flushes. Easy to fit once you find out how to access the seal in the type of flush mechanism you have without damaging the existing set up. The new seal is larger than the old one which will have worn away over time and use which is the cause for the leak that you now have and the reason for the replacement seal being necessary.

Just the job! The flush valve in my toilet wasn’t making a proper seal so water from the cistern was constantly running into the pan...expensive if you’re on a meter like me. This item was a perfect replacement for the worn seal on the flush valve. Changed in minutes and everything working fine with no leaks. Replacing this part is a much cheaper and easier option than replacing the complete valve. Recommended.

Cistern was leaking water into the pan constantly and was getting worse. New part fitted in less than 5 minutes, and all i needed was a flat head screwdriver to pop the old on out. Recommended.

Seal looks good quality and actually successfully replaced a seal of slightly smaller diameter. It worked perfectly and it was good to have a new securing ring provided although removing the old ring was harder than expected. I cut off the old ring using a fine junior hacksaw because I couldn't easily prise out the clip tangs with a screwdriver.
