Solid contender from LG
One of the best deals I got so far on eBay. The panel is excellent and produces vivid images. 1080p/4k videos run in very smooth motion. This being a true Smart TV, you won't ever need Chromecast to stream Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube etc. The speakers are a decent too - down firing with good bass but the lows aren't perceptible at times. That shouldn't be held against the TV though, there are many other models in the range with much inferior audio. I would just reduce 1/2 * if I could for the greenish-white backlight bleed that happens but as I've learnt it is a feature of many 4k TVs out there. Nice TV For the price
First things first, no user manual- you have to download a generic one from LG website and it is very unintuitive. If your happy with out of the box settings then this is no problem. Picture quality: sat directly in front of the screen I can't fault it. However, if you move to an angle of the screen, the image becomes a little distorted and the black tones change from black to a grey colour. This though, is nowhere near as prominent as my other Samsung TV, even a slight angle and you can't see most of the screen- thumbs up for LG. It is supposed to upscale lower resolutions to near 4k, but if not playing hd or 4k content then it just looks a little blurry. You may well be able to adjust the settings to compensate but trying to understand how to do this is beyond me for the moment. Also, occasionally you get stuttering on fast panning shots. Again, adjustments will probably sort this. Overall I am happy with the picture quality. Sound: for flatscreen TV speakers, they sound good, have plenty of depth and volume. As a side note, I have an LG soundbar system. This TV comes with a standard remote- which can sync to the soundbar and control. Job done! But, I purchased a "magic remote"(which is excellent BTW) and this remote will not sync with my soundbar as it uses Bluetooth. Therefore I need to use the separate soundbar remote as well. Small gripe. Connectivity: has 3 hdmi, ethernet port and WiFi, optical out, 2 usb and component out. More than enough for most people. I was surprised that it will play just about every video file format I threw at it from a usb hard drive! You are also able to record TV to a usb device...another bonus. I have managed to save space by not using my set top box as this TV does everything I need including Netflix, prime and now TV. Looks: very plane and boring! Bezel ok isn't especially thin and it's a dark grey brushed effect plastic. The thickness of this TV surprised me a little... In my eyes it's very thick nearly double the thickness of my other LCD and plasma! I measured it a just about 9cm! It is exceptionally light though, making it fairly easy for me (on my own) to wall mount. Conclusion: for the money you can't go wrong. Just need an expert to dial in the settings and I'm sure it will please most people.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My second LG TV and as always it delivers beautiful picture as someone mentioned in a review - who needs oled. Loaded with modern day features. These are great quality TVs but you must remember that you have to spend an other £30/£40 to purchase the remote that is required to make it work seamlessly as it only comes with the bog standard remote and it is not easy to make it work easily without.
