Looks brand new and works perfect. The sound is awesome! Had to fine tune the 5.1 settings to get the full rich sound expierence. Make sure you tune every option, don't relay on default settings.The gaming modes found in the SBX Profile console were unexpected. One star was removed because the volume remote only works on the Mic/Headphones. The Asus Strix it replaced had speaker control as well. Overall, Fantastic sound! Very Good Card, replaced my old Audigy 2ZS
This is a very good card, sound is great and works really fine with Windows 10, no need to get weird third party drivers or do some tricks to install, as the Audigy 2ZS requires nowadays. I did a direct comparison between this card and the Audigy 2ZS. Left both on system, just changed the sound source from one to another, listening on my Logitech Z-5500 and Hyper X Cloud Core. This card works better after installing the "Command Center" and drivers from Creative. The difference in sound quality from the Audigy 2ZS is not as big as from an onboard to a dedicated, but it was there. A little bit crunchier on the high notes, somewhat denser on the lower, general perception is of quality. I'd recommend to anyone looking for this update. Oh yeah, this card is definitely much prettier than the Audigy 2ZS and the "lights" on it are dim. It will get seen but will not "light up your case". I find this as a plus, some may like more vivacity.
