Unbeatable at double the price. Just buy it!
I'm really impressed with this saw. It's my 4th mitre saw so I've had a bit of experience with them, classing myself as a keen DIYer rather than a professional. As such I don't need the last word in accuracy and that's why I chose this over another "Pro" make. The fact that it was a 1/4 of the price helped too! For the price I wasn't expecting too much but out of the box I was very impressed: Checking the blade for trueness at 90 degrees it was bang on. No adjustment at all necessary. The laser was also perfectly aligned with the rhs of the blade. It all feels well put together and decent quality. The stops are solid and feel as though they won't drift with use.The plastic blade guard will probably break soon but I have a habit of doing that. Oh and I love the timber stops on the in and out feed tables. Simple and very useful! So far I've only used it for rough cutting but can't see why it's not capable of fine work albeit with a finer blade. Highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Exceptional value for money

good for the price
cheap but solid, measurements are a little crude but if some time is spent setting it up properly (you tube tutorial) this should provide years of good service, you get what you pay for, if you just want a saw for general purpose and not building a cabinet for the queen this should fit the billVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good price and quality especially for the diy user
Arrived on time and looks good for the price. I have used it to make a garden fence and it cut through 3 inch fence posts with ease and also cut about 80 old slats to make the new fence from the old one. My only concern is that the blade has now lost one of its teeth.
