Great Idea but Needs Work
Difficult to set up. Tried multiple WiFi frequencies and devices, finally found a combination to work. When it works it is great, however, sometimes it doesn't work very well at all. Thinking probably heat related (item is in a cool place with lots of air around it). I hooked it up to a smart plug and am turning it off when not in use. Will see how it goes. Clearstream
Initially this product is a good idea but I think there are some bugs in the unit that needs to be worked out. The device is small, which is good. The setup was difficult as it woouldn’t connect until the 5th time of resets. The device gets way to hot so allowing it to sit on a floor, such as carpet isn’t an option. Once it was setup the device took over 25 mins to scan and pull channels. The device found 48 channels in my local area but would only display about 20. Within those 20, the device would buffer every few minutes our so. My internet speed is 100/25 and without the device and just using the anntenna by itself, the channel listing was 52 and 49 channels came in with no issues. Not an antenna booster
This device is designed so you can watch local stations on you Mobile devices at home. You connect a tv antenna to the device and connect it to your WiFi. Download Clearstream app and search for local stations (it found fewer than my tv does on a channel search). You can then each on your mobile device, but you cannot cast it to your tv. I suppose it could be useful for the some, but it would be more useful if one could cast to the tv.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its easy to setup and download the app. The tuner only works with one player at a time. I but the item to use on my TVs with my roku and fire stick but I can only use it on one TV. It doesn't work on multiple devices at the same time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Once you get it to work it is a great addition.
Once you get it to work it is a great addition. Had a problem getting it to work with Firestick. App would crash while it was searching for the device. After numerous tries finally I got it to work. Makes a great addition for those who wish to cut the cord, and live near their local stations. Research It Before You Buy
As a standalone for watching TV on your phone, its pretty good. As an advertised approved tuner for Plex, the jury is still out for me. The interface in Plex is very nice, but it takes forever for the actual video to acquire and even then it hangs up and often doesn't come back. Online, there are YouTube videos showing a much snappier response from more expensive OTA boxes. (Note: Those boxes have wired LAN, while the Clearstream has only WiFi to connect to the network.) Ahhh...but, there is the rub. Clearstream is CHEAP. Very cheap. So, I'm not yet sure if the cheapness outweighs the glitchy performance.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not sure it’s worth the money.
Just purchased the ClearStream tv tuner. It’s real easy to set up. Instead of totally using this, I used a splitter to keep my tv hooked up to the antenna. The reason why? The ClearStream tends to freeze up. The guide locks up. I bought this in hopes of being able to record some local tv without having to use tv apps on my smart tv. The guide barely goes past a day ahead. You might want to wait buying this, until a better product arrives.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but not great

Works good for the price
If you are looking for a basic inexpensive network tuner to be used over a Roku or other smart device it works fine. I also have a Tablo that I would have to say is better but also more expensive. The biggest negatives with the Clearstream tuner that I found is that it has to be close to you access point or it will buffer and there is no application to use it over a PC. Nice to play tv in two rooms without moving the antenna
