    Gardman Brown wooden arch

    Quite good quality item one tiny piece of the trellis came off so I glued it. Exceptional easy to put together.I'd recommend the green spikes and at least 2 good coats of decking oil before fitting in situ.The brown version is the 1 to obtain around 8/10.

    Poorer quality than expected

    Sadly having paid £50+ we were disappointed of wood quality, one piece appeared to have split and had been glued back on! It seems quite "flimsy" However, it has painted up quite well in situe so not bad enough to send back or complain, but the second one we expected to buy will not now happen. sorry!

    Looks good but the construction is a lit...

    Looks good but the construction is a little flimsy and light in weight and the wood on one of the top cross member supports is cracked. Easy to assemble but will need to be cemented into the ground as it has been bought to support a large kiwi plant.

    Basic garden arch

    Garden arch very basic you get what you pay for when building sides make sure to put three sides then slip mesh into it then last one to hold as it’s not easy and if u over tighten fasteners come out its basically what you pay is what you get does the job had one before lasted 5 to 6 years won’t complain at 50 notes 👍

    Very poor quality

    I had read the other reviews thinking this would be sturdy when arrived some bits had broken off and a lot of split wood. We have secured it to posts on either side of where fitted but if just free standing even with spikes in strong winds would be very worried.

    Good quality rose arch

    Stylish looking arch, made with good quality and very sturdy timber,relatively simple to put together but it does need two of you to complete it The spikes that come with the arch finish it off and make the arch sturdy and looking really proffessional .

    Arch Pergola - you get what you pay for.

    Self assembly was relatively straight forward. Wood is not pre treated in any way, so best to paint with a wood treatment before assembly? Bought mine with ground spikes that in my opinion are not long enough to make the arch stable enough, so am now going to use post fix to firm up.

    Disappointment

    I was disappointed . To be fair I realise it wasn't expensive and that may be the problem . The trellis fell apart as soon as it was moved and a bit of a wind the day after I assembled it split the arch and skewed the whole structure into weird angles ( I had purchased the anchor brackets offered)
