Sta- Bil fuel conditioner Type-Storage.
I was recommended to use STA-BIL fuel conditioner Type -Storage. To put in my weed wacker/strimmer my chainsaw my two motorcycles to stop the ethanol based petrol from going stale in the fuel tanks and carburettors . If you don't use a fuel conditioner the fuel brakes down over winter due to the Ethonol which contains water and blocks up the fuel system, resulting in not being able to start the engines in spring. Even if you drain tank and carb there will still be residue left behind which will block jets in the carburettor. Without expencive garage/ workshop repair bills.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Add Sta-Bil and forget, whenever you store a petrol engine.
My classic car sits in the garage for 6 months, so this product is needed to preserve the fuel in good condition and prevent damage to the carburetter. I use Sta-Bil in my lawn mower, chainsaw, strimmer, multitool and just about everything which uses petrol.
