Shoddily made.
The design is lovely, which is why I chose this item, but the quality is awful. The hem was coming undone on both of the tea towels (I bought two), so I had to unpick and resew the hems. It was also off-grain, so the seams are very wonky. Okay, I'm a seamstress so I notice these things, but I've never seen such a shoddy tea towel in my life! I didn't think to photograph the appalling workmanship until I had almost finished rectifying them, so all you see in the photo is one little bit that is coming undone. Such a shame as the lepidoptera design is beautiful. I would ask the factory in China where this item is made to employ a quality control person!
