The downsides of a leather band? I know I am hurting it's lifespan when I shower, swim, and work in my watch. The leather feels and looks cheap (I am used to tack leather for horses and good boots). The positives? The metal latch to the watch itself feels so much more sturdy than the 15 different silicone/nylon replacement bands I have bought over the last three years.
