A Great Kit for Modelers of All Ages
Almost 50 years ago I built a kit of one of the most advanced Attack Helicopters ever designed... The AH-56 Cheyenne by Aurora through the Kit of the Month program. I've long wanted to build that kit again but recent releases have been in resin... which is hard to work with. Recently, a company named Atlantis has been re-releasing a lot of the old kits from the Aurora line and I was surprised and amped to see that the Cheyenne was one of those kits being released. The kit is molded in olive drab styrene plastic and consists of thirty six parts with an Instruction Sheet and Decals. It is a simple enough kit for younger modelers to build, yet detailed enough to satisfy older builders and is a good basis for a more detailed kit if you choose to add more detail. A lot of the detail is simplistic but gives a good representation of the real aircraft. The instruction sheet shows an exploded drawing of the parts and hot the kit goes together, the back page shows photos of the completed kit. The re-release of this kit has been long awaited by modelers.
