Extremely effective and efficient Eufy
👉As I needed a new outdoor security light, I thought I would try one with a camera. I already have a Eufy camera doorbell and so decided on the security floodlight camera. It is easy to install as a retro fit to existing mains wiring, isolate the mains electricity supply, remove the old light, secure the (included) junction box to the wall, connect in the mains cable to the pre fitted connection point, connect the floodlight to the same connection point and secure the floodlight to the junction box by means of a central bolt. Switch on the mains and link the floodlight camera to your network and viewing device with the instructions provided. The Eufy app (you need this to operate and link the floodlight) allows you to modify the floodlight's settings and access the floodlight. The floodlight gives a bright adjustable light, and the camera gives a clear and sharp picture. Things to remember: The floodlight is mains (hard) wired, so you need an external power supply, or need a qualified electrician to install one. You need a wifi signal, which is strong enough (try using your smartphone's wifi to test for a signal at the location position) to reach the outdoor floodlight. You need a device (smartphone, tablet or computer to operate and monitor the floodlight. And if you've got all that, well the Eufy Floodlight Camera is really excellent, so good that I purchased a second one. The 1st is 1080p resolution and the 2nd is the 2k version; both being as equally as good as each other. Do I recommend Eufy, yes 💯%😁. And by the way; my wife calls the floodlight's manufacturer 'Goofy' but it certainly isn't a Mickey Mouse outfit. 😜

Bright and good images
Would of been 5 stars put the wall plugs were very poor quality and did not secure it to bricks as well as I would like. Used 6mm drill bit as instructions stated and they spin in the holes even after fully tightened. I will be swapping these out soon.
