London Transport has always wanted the best design, be it Charles Holden's superb art deco Tube stations on the Piccadilly Line, its elegant Johnston typeface or Harry Beck's Tube map. Very good but slightly flawed
Nice little book for a casual read, full of gems of information. Great picture content, and I love the fact that it's printed in Johnston typeface, revealing its LT museum source. It is however very light on tram content, and a bit more research at the National Tramway Museum at Crich would have yielded much. You could have had some good pictures from their rehabilitated E1 no.1622 (two moquettes!)
