heavy with good sound
Its good as it is, cartridge is decent and cable is not just demonstrative type but the one suitable only for phono connection as its shielding doesn't take a part in signal transfer. Mat is plain felt type but apparently the height of the arm has been set to use it without the mat so I did, didn't use it to much with submitted cartridge as I have change it to MC type. The only annoying thing is the speed switch, namely, table start at 33rpm mode to change to 45 you need to press the button every time turntable starts - if you turn the record over and start you need to repeat pressing speed switch - at least it has the switch as others require mingling with the belt. Changing to three times more expensive cartridge vastly improve the sound therefore one can say this is very capable turntable. It can give more than £500 DAC.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
