This is a great movie,,i really wish i could have seen it on the big screen,,if this film doesn't win an oscar it's been Robbed,,it's one of the best films I've seen since private Ryan,,5 stars,,worth every penny,,
Saw this a the cinema ,a real eye opener at what the troops endured,
Having great uncles who were in this awful war ,and died in this area only kids ,15 and 17 years of age ,
It’s our history Special effects very realistic ,
I can’t class it as entertaining because of its content ,as it’s gruesome
It’s a very accurate description .
Mendes’s first world war drama. Directing, acting, set design, cinematography, musical score, the raw emotion it invokes - + 5. 1917 is a great movie. Treat yourself....see this movie!
This dvd was good value for money & I haven't seen it yet I brought it for the girlfriend Couse were into history of the first would war & we watch things together so thank u for my dvd 1917 & be safe to u all.
Wonderful film that engages the viewer in an action-packed drama through the bleakness of trench warfare. The characters are perfect, and the one-camera filming is genius. Both exhilarating and tense, this film leaves you with the feeling of being there, and the horrors of the 'war to end all wars'.
