Great price, performance, stylish, 5 yr guarantee
This Shark vac really looks and feels robustly made and stylish. It hasn't been used in anger yet as I've only unpacked to test it works. It looks a little over engineered if anything and is quite heavey. The 3 suction settings are really strong though and even hoovered up dust from the carpet that had ALREADY just been hoovered. Plenty of attachments with the turbo head a pleasant addition. It's good that it came directly from manufacturers and brand new for only £95 with an extra £7.60 discount and a 5 YEAR GUARANTEE. Efficient but somewhat awkward to use.
The machine and attachments are very sturdy but somewhat heavy. The configuration of the folding part of the main arm was somewhat fiddly to work but worked well enough for accessing underneath beds etc. The tube however does not extend which would have been helpful in getting into corners of rooms. The suction power was good, and the rotating brush did a good job with hairs and dust. The smaller hand held rotating brush worked effectively on stairs. Strangely there was no brush attachment. The main hose is not as flexible as some, so it is quite easy to kink it when turning corners. The main problem we had with our machine was in getting the bagless dust canister out of the machine. The retracting catch was too long and some plastic had to be shaved off it before it would release easily. This might just have been a problem with this one machine, but if not a definite design fault. The retracting cable button had to be held down all the time. Awesome vacuum
Best hoover we've ever had. It's very practical, easy to clean, a bit chunky for someone who's not used to the big heads, however, the power and ease it's cleaning with sways that away quickly. Reasonable price, although would like a bit more colour variation. Disappointing, poor design.
Early days but I wouldn't recommend this hoover. Very heavy in use and controls and hose are somehow awkward.. the hose tangles and folds easily stopping suction and I would guess will not last long. Having had an upright Shark for around six years that is starting to fail I thought this would make a good replacement, glad I only paid refurbished price, certainly not worth full retail.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Brilliant Vacuum
I love this vacuum & I have had quite a few over the year's including Dyson & Gtec Airam. But this Shark cylinder is just brilliant. Great suction, floor to carpet in a blink & also fairly light weight as I can sometimes struggle with heavy objects. I have 2 Pomeranians & is fab for getting the hairs off my sofa & rug & no tangles on the brushes. Great value for money to. lot easier than uprights
coming on 72 i find upright vacuums hard to push. this was the main point of me buying my shark. after the first clean on 3 i find i can easily push AND clean efficiantly on 2. the cylinder follows around like a puppy on steroids and its very easy to store in a nook or cranny. i also have 2 quite hairy dogs. with my old machine i would spend hours with a pair of scissors de-hairing the brushes. so no more dust , sweat or swearing for me! 😃Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
