One of my personal best American programs that gets `BETTER` with age.
One of the best American T.V. shows I have watched and gets better with age, This is down to two people director Michael Mann and R J Hammer for the film music. Started a men's fashion for pastoral shades in menswear. Used multi curtail actors in all its stories which were well written. Due to political content I can not see it being made again in today`s climate. Did wonders for the car industry both in America and Europe. Showed the last of the American giant cars such as the Chevrolets Tubs has driven. Helped the arms industry in the way weapons were used. At one point other actors asked for a part on the show examples being Eartha Kit. Helped both the British and American pop industry to get singles noticed not forgetting one Canadian group Paylos. Gives you a good insight as to what a policeman's e job entails and how it effects personal lives. To see a similar series today I do not think it will happen it is a product of its time. Warning you need a American `A `region Blu Ray player to play this boxset expensive in the UK but not impossible.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great show even better in HD
I grew up watching Miami Vice and tuned in every week on BBC to follow the adventures of Crockett & Tubbs. The show was ahead of it's time and inspired many during the era. Amazing show that had depth to its characters and kick started the careers of actors such as Bruce Willis and Liam Neeson to name but a few. It's the epitome of the 80s era and with it's neon lights and amazing soundtrack this show instantly grips you and never lets you go. Unfortunately it lost it's way in Season 3 in my opinion but it picked up in Season 4 and finished with a bang in Season 5. Miss this show at your peril!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
