Superb prints of Hawaii's mostly extinct honeycreepers and flightless rails.
I have the book, only one printing I think, 1989, which is when I purchased it. I purchased this copy for my brother-in-law who with my sister, visited me in Hawai'i recently. It's a magnificent book with wonderful prints of the original lithographs from early expeditions to Hawai'i.

Frohawks was a naturalist painter similar to Audubon and the full page plates are quite nice.
