I purchased this book for my wife after it was highly recommended by an acquaintance. My spouse is an RN and is fairly savvy when it comes to medicine. She thought very little of this publication and said each chapter was basically a regurgitation of the one before it. Like other reviewers, she felt it was not written for the layman and was excessive in its medical jargon.
