2 Wheel Knife Sharpener Works Well
Yes this is very expensive but it works. I've tried a number of 'wheeled' knife sharpeners recently. On some the plastic guard is too high, so the knive catches on it and blunts the blade as you sharpen it. I've also bought a couple of cheap Chinese ones. On these: [i] the wheels don't turn unless your oil them; [ii] they don't say which is the coarse and which is the fine wheel; [iii] and they don't seem to work [mine did not anyway]. I've also tried the ones with 'opposing faced' metal blades. These didi not seem to do much.
