Very unhappy!
We have been a metal detecting family for years, so are not inexperienced with detectors. Our young grandson has been asking for one of his own and we thought this would be a good one to start him out on. Yes, it is a lower end one, and we did not expect miracles, but we can put metal right under this product, and it will not be picked up. I don't know if it is a widespread problem with this particular detector, or this one just happens to be defective, but BEWARE!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This item isn't worth 5 dollars let alone 60. I buried a number of silver coins anywhere from 2 to 12 inches for test purposes and, the metal detector could not pick up a single one. ( this included a merc dime, war nickle,standing liberty dollar, silver Kennedy have and a 1 ounce .999% silver round). All it seems to pick up is iron even if you have it exempt. I've been detecting for about 5 years now and this is by far the worst metal detector I've ever used.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No fun :-(
I ordered THREE metal detectors. The directions to put direction are such broken English, they don't make sense. The instructions for use are practically non-existent. This is a difficult detector to use definitely not for a beginner. I have used several with my sons over the years, and this one must be worked with over time to adjust to what the information it is giving.
