Dyson dc 24 replacement brush head motor
Bought in good faith but had to make modifications to the unit to allow it to fit and to function ! Part of the drive-head had to be sawn off and adapted to fit though there was no mention of this in the enclosed instructions !! DC24 brush motor spigot incompayability
The motor and drive belt system are of good quality and fitting dimensions, however the "tri-wing" brush drive spigot did not fit my brush roller (it had a longer cylindrical locating spindle). I rectified this problem by transplanting the "tri-wing" from my old unit (attached through the shaft by a removable screw).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Dyson DC24 front brush motor replacement.
Fitting the replacement motor is relatively simple, once the difficult task of removing screws which have been in position for a few years is completed. Not so simple, as some are in deep recesses which do not allow the body of the removal tool socket easy access. Dyson now back to full efficiency.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
