    Small and fast

I was expecting it to be bigger - the usual roughly 50x20x8mm. It is tiny(43x14x4) but is very fast and runs only just warm, even when swapping lots of data. It weighs almost nothing so is ideal for the lanyard I tied on to keep it around my neck when out (backup no 4 of life's work). It also looked as though the black handle part swings over to protect the end - it doesn't and I fitted the end from a lesser sized old USB stick: not having one could lead to dirt getting into the connection. Apart from that one omission I find it an excellent big capacity USB drive & would reccommend it to anyone.

    Reasonable for the price but...

Don't expect constant high speeds - it's reasonable but rarely gets above 90MB/s (other memory drives in the same computer are far faster but to be fair more expensive too). Heat - they run HOT. I was actually surprised at how hot the unit felt in use so I got my meter out with the following results... Ambient room temperature 16 Centigrade Just having the device plugged in to a USB 3 port for a couple of minutes (without accessing it) I was reading 42 centigrade. 2 minutes into writing data to the stick, speed was averaging 40MB/s and the temperature was up to 65 centigrade. This appears to be because of the tiny size of the stick (a nice advantage if you're carrying it on a key chain) and the mainly metal construction. Overall - it's OK. Especially for the price of around £25. The heat is somewhat alarming and I don't think I'd feel comfortable leaving it plugged in whilst unattended for any length of time. Speed could be better but again for the price I'm not going to complain too much.

  • Perfect USB for downloading fast

I regularly download to a memory stick so need fast, efficient downloading. This USB stick fills all my needs. I use to sit for up to an hour or more for my USB 2.0 sticks now it takes just minutes.

  • Unrelaible device

This memory stick runs very hot, almost too hot to handle. I've complained to SanDisk about this, sent them photos as they requested and their answer is that this is normal. I now realise that there are many adverse comments on-line about this device (the Ultra Flair) and all are complaining about the high temperature and unreliability of performance when being used at these temperatures. I'm now seeing this as well.

  • Compact Key Ring Friendly USB Stick

This stick is light in weight and not bulky on a key ring. It runs warm but not excessively or unexpectedly so. File transfer is pleasantly fast on my USB 2.0 computer. Casing is quite robust but not fully metal in construction. Seems study enough though, a good purchase and satisfied end user.

  • Not without Flair

Fitted all my 108 GB mp3 collection on stick while I formatted my old Primary SSD drive to make way for games and music freeing up my new primary drive for system and docs. Came in very handy as I couldn't have done it without Flair usb stick from SanDisk.

  • It only worked once.

It didn't last very long before it refused to copy. But it could be just a 'one-off'. However, I've always had good luck with other SanDisk USB flash drives!

  • Plenty of storage in a very small space

I have used it to back-up my files. It read the files in very quick time and there they have stayed. I cannot comment on its reliability as it Is purely a storage device at present. It appears to have stored all the files copied to it so all seem well. When I come to withdraw some files I will be in a better position to check its reliability.

  • Tiny is the word

Great performance and enormous capacity. No wider than the usb socket. Scared I will loose it.
