I use this to keep my hair from sticking out especially after a night's sleep. It is great for doing that, but it has never brought my hair colour back to its original shade. I've tried grecian 2000 in the past but I've found that it takes quite a few applications before you notice any difference and it stains pillow cases and shirt collars. Restoria is quite fast acting, you can see a difference after only one application and it doesn't stain pillowcases or shirt collars quite so much.
