Wound protector
I had a smal biopsy just below my knee, so was instructed to keep the wound dry for 3 weeks so purchased the shower sleeve.. Delivery was prompt and the sleeve is easy to put on. The elasticated end do the job but care has to be used to make sure that a small amount of water has not been caught in the top. ( Best to towel down first with it still on your leg ) and dry it afterwards. This said, it is fit for purpose and good value. Doesn't work very well.
This product isn't fit for purpose. No matter how tight you pull the drawstring, some water still gets in where the plastic wrinkles up. Also, if you need to tie the bottom toggle round to seal the end for a lower leg cast, the knot is right under your foot, where you can't help but tread on it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I purchased the Acu-Life shower sleeve for a relative who currently has a PICC line fitted. It is very easy for her to use on her own, rather than the limbo sleeve that she was issued with at the hospital. It can accommodate any arm width or length & is very practical. Not fit for purpose
It is advertised as suitable for different parts of the body, but my wife has a dressing on the lower leg that needs to be kept dry and even though she also wrapped clingfilm around the dressing before and she tied the cast protector on so tight that marks were left on her leg, it still leaked quite considerably.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
