Mobile? Hmmm
So, I bought this mat as a replacement for my sling/mat combi thinking it would pack up smaller and allow me to be more mobile. Unfortunately, the mat is far bigger than my sling/mat, so doesn't really help me be more mobile. That aside, let's give this mat it's critique- As I say, it's larger than expected which is great for the fish. The foam is thick and of a reasonable density and the cover looks good and waterproof. Stitching looks good as well, and the tri-fold design is secured with two clipped, tensionable straps. Downsides are there are no pegging points, which I miss so may add some myself, and not such an issue for me is the lack of kneeling mat. Overall, I'm happy with the mat. It will give good protection to the fish and should last. I'd give this mat 8/10, losing a couple of marks for the pegging points as I think they are essential IMO
