Used this to recover the function of a very elderly file that had laid dormant for several years (decades!) and succumbed to rust. Once the rust had been treated, it revealed a file with potential, so this file card was bought to restore the 'teeth' to some usefulness. It reveals that the grooves are still useable once they've been 'cleaned out' and the old metal prised from their place.
