    Excellent single-mode Gigbit fibre to Ethernet media converter

    Well made, compact, and rugged. Duplex SC fibre connector, RJ45 Ethernet. I have used these extensively for running a Gigabit LAN around a temporary sporting venue and have worked a treat. Only minor niggle is that it is powered by an external 9Vdc power supply via a 5.5mm dia connector with 2.1mm dia centre pin - this is EXACTLY the same size connector as all my other kit that uses 12Vdc #whatcouldpossiblygowrong

    Great performance at a good price

    A solid and compact device that works a treat - converting 1000BASE-LX duplex single-mode fibre into Gigabit Ethernet. The one I have is hardware revision version 2.22 and comes with a 9Vdc plug-in power supply via 5.5mm x 2.1mm circular connector - shame it uses the self same connector as 95% of my other gear does, but for 12Vdc.
