    Little Axe for Big Tree...

    This pump is surprisingly small but also surprisingly powerful for its size. To be quite honest it's a beautiful pump and is quite pleasing to the eyes. I wouldn't hesitate to take her home to meet mom and dad. During normal operation it whines like a horse in heat but does its job. On its maiden voyage I transferred 65 gal of potable water from a tank into my RV and all went well. But like others have noted, the lack of an on-off switch is a bit of a nuisance so be ready to yank that plug from the outlet when the deal is done. There are several similar transfer pumps out there, but considering that this one is a name-brand and not just one of the many Chinese made pumps out there that are named "pump" with their associated model numbers also named pump, I would recommend this drummond or buy another of its kind if needed.

    Do not buy this product

    First of all, it was poorly packaged. It looked really cheaply made, probably in China. It had some corrosion on the plate so it probably sat for a while. It did not work at all. I even tried to prime the pump. Do not buy this product. It was non-returnable.
