Would not be without it
5*****Product I would recommend this Garmin sat nav dash cam to everyone. Instructions and maps are brilliant, the extra features are what made me buy it, there are warnings for speeding, lane departure, forward collision warning, takes pictures as well as video, all kinds of camera warnings, traffic moving, eating places, all sorts of things can be put in it to keep you in touch with what you want, customised really,. Looks good, easy to use, just plug into cigarette lighter, free map updates for life. Weak Product
After using the item for a few weeks now, I have arrived at the conclusion that it is a weak product, let down by the software and hardly fit for purpose. The Sat Nav directions and voice prompts are not very accurate and quite often wrong. The maps will not update after installing the app and trying 6 times it just says item has a fault. Therefore not possible to update maps. There is a annoying lag whilst inputting address and also freezes at times. No Microphone to record audio in camera mode and voice command does not work. It is almost like someone with a sick sense of humor has programmed the thing. Keep repeating a postcode clearly and slowly and a different one comes up every time and never the correct one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

There's plenty of features, everything about it is %1oo. Highly recommend.
Today was the first time I have used it, The satnav is very good and very clear, but sometimes it doesn't tell you the turn off until you are on top of it. I wasn't sure if it was recording my journey because it didn't show it on screen and there was no other indication, But I have just downloaded the pictures, the pictures from the cam are very clear, but I have to find a way to lengthen the clips, there was 305 recordings and I only went to Bolton and back to Manchester.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great navigation + good recording images
At least it navigates well and doesn't stop at crucial moments like my phone navigation. Likes: Easy to use, gets to destination, easy to find destinations by multiple methods. Voice control and hands free phone works well. Can use alternative software to make my own vehicle icons. Europe maps and regular updates. Not so good: Hate the beeps and blips for warnings (eg. Over speed limit), would be nicer if had option for a voice message instead. Been down some interesting narrow lanes - fastest or shortest route seems to avoid major roads at times. Excellent sat nav with live traffic, free map updates and a dash cam
This is a 5" Garmin sat nav with free lifetime map updates. More importantly to me is it gets free direct to itself live traffic information - no phone needed. It also has a built in dash cam that records whilst the sat nav is on, so you have some peace of mind if someone runs into you. As my car doesn't have sat nav at all I am pleased with this. I did one long 500+ mile round trip with it and the traffic information proved very useful. I'd recommend this if you are in the market for a sat nav. Can’t be without
Daughter just had her first car, so we decided to buy this, as it included a dash cam and satnav together. Very easy set up, looks great in her car and easy to stash away when not needed. Great Satnav at any price
This satnav has great features. Shows speed limit, reminds you if you exceed the limit, optionally shows shop categories in area. As you approach your destination the screen shows the view of the dascam pointing to your destination. Only very small negative was no user manual supplied. HOW does one operate this thing ? Expletives, many, colourful, and varied, omitted.
The product seems to work as it should but the operator's manual is woefully inadequate, being written mainly for those that already know how everything works, using the satnav I could work through the getting to a destination, the use of other satnav features mysterious, the dashcam... I have no idea if the basic recording is going on, or not, things that I wish to reference in the online manual, do not appear in the index, no manual is provided with the item, I know this has become the norm, but, that doesn't make it the best idea, just the cheapestVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent - covers all needs.
Bought because it had both satnav and dashcam, but find it also has good traffic info. All sorts of warnings for various things, some more useful than others, but more importantly hands free for the phone.
