Holding up to 70g of ground coffee, you can make more than enough for a few people or grind enough spices for a delicious curry. It’s so easy to use - just put your beans in the cup, replace the lid then press and hold the button until you have reached the ideal coarseness.

    Good thing for average use

I bought this Andrew James product because we have a milk frother of the same brand at home and it's really good. The grinder is very simple to use, there's just one button. However, that means that you cannot regulate how fine the grinding is. And, when I tried grinding some coffee beans for an espresso maker, the espresso was less fine than the one I bought already ground in a shop. It's definitely not the finest, and it says on the instruction that grinding it for longer than 30 seconds will not produce a finer grind but will reduce the aroma of the coffee. Well, I did try to grind it for another 30 seconds (I stopped after the first 30 seconds because I didn't want it to overheat), and it kind of did produce finer coffee. Not sure about the taste yet. Overall, this might not be the the best choice if you need very fine results, but it seems like a good grinder overall.

    Andrew James

This coffee grinder works well but it has one design fault. It is very difficult to get the grinds out with out them going all over the Kitchen. It needs a removable easy to empty container. It is difficult to keep clean. I have to use a small pasty brush to remove grinds and clean the machine after use. Do not let water any where near it.

  • Grinder

Nice little machine dose exactly what it SAYS on the tin! Easy to use and looks good with other red appliances I give it 4⭐as the well could be a little deeper/larger and there are no extras supplied to empty ground coffees into!! Apart from that I would recommend it for ease of use and practicality 👍

  • Good for coffe

I don't know why there is picture with nuts-can't grind nuts properly!!! bought it for nuts and spices more than coffee. Pros: price and Spices are you done excellent! Cons: cant clean properly in the base of the blade ! can be problematic if very smelly spicy was done

  • Struggles to grind nuts.

Struggles to grind nuts, appears to be under-powered or too slow in rotation or maybe the cup/bowl size is too large for the motor and/or cutters to cope with, coupled with the very short run/rest time (30 seconds run - 3 minutes rest!, NOT mentioned in the advert), ensure that this appliance is not really fit for purpose.----- I think its most appropriate that the picture shows various food items in the UN-ground condition. On the plus side, it's an attactive pretty red colour, so functions well as an ornament.

  • Looks good

Feels flimsy- time will tell. Badly designed, coffee difficult to get out and really hard to clean. Used a few times for coffee beans, noT possible to use for anything else as the smell of coffee is so strong. Bought it as a replacement for one that was about 30 years old - no comparison for construction and ease of use!

  • Good but not perfect

Works easily and well. Wish it were easier to clean and never drop the lid because it’s very brittle. This is my second for that reason only. The old grinder works but the lid shattered on one drop on the floor.

  • Grinder mill

Takes a wee bit to get coffee ground fine enough for expresso machine but got there eventually. It means more choice of coffee :-) only slight negative is its not easy to clean grinder, but found a soft toothbrush worked at getting the grind out and a wipe with damp kitchen roll so it can be used for other things

  • Great little mashine

It's a great grinder, small, doing it's job. We are use it to grind coffee and it's fast and easy. Bit difficult to empty it without a little mess, but it's not a big deal, might be difficult to clean if you want to use for different spices and such.
