Appears a good unit for the reasonable price.
After removing my old alternator (Valeo and original 140K) it had served me well but the brushes were u/s and the slip ring post worn to the plastic. It appears to make economic sense to buy a new unit so fit and forget. This one was brand new (pattern) but looks fine and fitted with no problem (bar the awkward position on the Freelander). Working well - I am sure the battery is better for it as it seems to start easier. All in I am pleased with the purchase even though I am 'careful!' with the coins.
