Very sharp and work really well, handles are great length so no breaking back, although not too heavy you do get a good arm workout and few sore muscles but very pleased with them, the other thing which is good, you don’t get nipped fingers when the shears close - I did constantly with my old shears. Cut well but design a disappointment.
Nice and sharp and cut well. However, if they are meant to make it easier to cut round kerb stones and under bushes they were a disappointment. I am just a normal height but not built like a giggon with arms down to my knees which is what it would take to be able to get the blades level with the ground without having to stoop down. That is what I was expecting. Looking at them I am sure it must be possible to have the blad at a greater angle so thay work as I had hoped. Looking at the reviews of other long handled shears they all seem to suffer the same problem. These shears had bad scratches down one handle. This could not have happened in transit as they were in an undamaged box. Hopefully not a second or a returned item. As it was only a cosmetic issue I could not be bothered to do anything about it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheaper lawn shears online? But experience says quality not quantity and get the best straight away and won't be needing to replace as quick as cheap shears... Well these spear and Jackson razor sharp lawn shears are really sharp and most of my lawn is short now and I am happy that I choose these shears.. Not fit for purpose. They look great yet simply don't work. I'm 6'4" and relatively fit but these shears did not cut the grass easily at all. They 'gum' at the grass and it takes 3-4 hefty hacks to make any headway. Very disappointed. Needs a fundamental redesign.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
