Inexpensive, easy to repair and mod
A unique feature is the paddle rocker on the throttle. Not many (if any) other throttles feature this. Great for flying Flight Assist Off in Elite: Dangerous. If you're the handy type, it's also fairly easy to open up and repair, clean, and mod.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A little disappointed.
Operates smoothly, and accurately, but has some problems. First, the flight stick is too stiff for my liking. Secondly, both the flight stick and throttle have a number of rubber feet but still slide around too much, which can be very annoying. Both units seem to be well built. They are made mostly of plastic, but I don't have a problem with that. If I can figure out a way to stop the sliding around I think I can deal with the stiffness of the flight stick. Right now I don't recommend the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS PC Flight Stick & Throttle Controller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The HOTAS makes flight sims so much easier. Plenty of buttons, sliders, and hat switches so I'm not bothered with using the keyboard so much. The only complaint has been mentioned elsewhere - the throttle slide, tho pretty smooth, takes some effort and can slide the whole unit around if not held in place. Works really well
I really like the thrustmaster it works really great unfortunately I only needed the stick I tried using the other device and couldn't get the hang of it I will keep trying it from time to time but the flight stick works best for me right now. Smooth controls/ long time mapping the keys
Played Star Wars Squadron with it and the controls are amazing. Only downside is mapping the controls to your liking for both the joystick and the thruster. But other than that, it's easy to maneuver the controls of the TIE Fighter/X-Wing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent simulator flight stick
The T16000M gives much finer control over your control inputs. On my previous HOTAS (basic Logitech) the range of movement was so small that any attempt to slight adjustments during flight would result in sizeable inputs - the result being that tasks, such as flying in formation, or air-to-air refueling were not realistically possible. This is as good as it gets, at this price point. You can buy better.. but . it will cost a fair amount more. System works fine and programs easily in Thrustmaster TARGET programing software and recognized by all gaming and sim software that I have introduced it to .
