Great pump.
I really like the Jecod pumps. I've used Jecod pumps in my aquariums for as long as I can remember and every model I buy is better than the last. I bought the DCP to replace my trusty three year old DCT as it was no longer as quiet as it used to be. Upon opening the box, I was surprised to see how small it was compared to my previous model. It's solid, well made and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had updated controller with the digital wattage display. When fitting the pump to my original hard plumbing, I was happy to see that the outlet was the same sized, threaded, solvent weld fitting that the DCT had. Replacement was as simple as unscrewing the union, swaping the pump, and screwing it back on. The pipe fittings supplied in the box are cheap and brittle, not the same plastic as the pump, so if you can find better attachments, go with those. I used my existing fittings. I switched it on, and away it went. Flow is great, the controller is good, and I can't hear it even if I try. What more do I need in a return pump?
