Extremely disappointed
I’m extremely disappointed with what I thought was going to be a quality product from a “good brand”. After 2 months I noticed limescale buildup around the handle, then a month later, limescale around the bottom chrome trim. The filling lid’s chrome is also bubbling up and beginning to look old and tired. The final straw can three days ago when, although the blue light indicating it was switched on, lit up, nothing else happens ie it no longer heats up. Another grumble is that it’s supposed to be fillable via its spout, which was a feature I wanted. It is, however, impossible to fill this way unless the water is only a trickle, thus taking an age to fill. I dislike having to remove the top lid as it hurts my arthritis. The little was delivered on 30 April 2021 and it finally broke on 21 November 2021 ie after just over 6 month’s use. It colour matches my kitchen and looks fabulous. Unfortunately that is all it does!

Swan retro orange jug kettle
I bought this kettle as I expected quality from such a well known brand. When the kettle arrived the first thing I noticed was that the handle and base, which are obviously plastic, were a totally different shade of orange to the kettle body and made it look nasty and cheap. In the photographs the kettle looks the same colour orange on all all of its components. When I started to use the kettle I noticed that steam was coming from the hole where the on/off switch was located. This in turn changed to condensation as the steam cooled. There is no way that steam should be finding its was through next to an electrical switch. Maybe a one off ? Not sure; I won’t be buying a swan brand kettle again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
