A very happy family historian!
This is awesome and super easy to use. You just attach it through to a VCR or DVR player, press play, press record on the device and you're good to go. You can also hook it up to your tv or computer to watch as you record, allowing you to stop and start the recording were you want. I had another converter that no longer works with my computer OS. This is perfect since it records directly to a Micro SD card, eliminating the possibility of it becoming outdated. I've already transferred many of my old family VHS tapes to digital, many that are almost unplayable due to age and a hurricane. Quality digital, easy to use
It took a little to figure out how to hook it up, but when you see the picture on the screen it is as easy as hitting one button to start and stop recording. Quality is superb for both 8 mm and vhs tapes. I am just saving video onto a micro sd and saving it to my pc, the same as I do my dashcam. I am not good with tech.
