Tried these for the first time on my cobs feathers the other day and ended up having to cut down most of her feathers first in order to just then trim them. They are not powerful enough to cut through thick feathers. They were clean and dry as recommended. Had to do the same when hogging her. Waste of money really as I could have bought a cheaper clipper just for trimming. I thought I would try cordless as they we’re quieter but I will stick to corded once I’ve saved up again.

Expensive but very effective. Supposedly for a cockerpoo but trims my working cocker beautifully. Comes with a good range of combs and 2 batteries.

Very nice bit on the heavy side and blades get hot after a while, and could do with a small attachment for blade to do delicate areas feet etc.
