Manufacturing quality changed in just a couple of years
These were made better just a couple of short years ago. I am noticing shortfalls in quality that did not previously exist. Things like the rubber insulation around the door does not reach all the way around. The door does not swing open or closed like older versions - it just get stuck mid way. There are sharp edges around the inside compartment that can catch your hand when inserting or removing food items. Rubber grommets on the feet would be nice to keep it from sliding around on surfaces, so I apply hot glue to the feet. These units also burn out every year or so with continuous use, so I'm constantly buying new ones. The AC circuits burn out first, so I need to switch to the DC cigarette lighter cord with an adapter for house current. This stuff from China has no consistency.
