Used only as a land line but works well with easy to get AAA batteries
Still haven't got the hang of using cell phone with this system. It works well as a cordless landline and the use of AAA batteries are is a big plus. No more searching for the right battery type. Keep on Looking
Pros: many new features including Bluetooth connectivity do your iPhone or smartphone, or to a myriad of Bluetooth devices such external speaker phones.. also the use of standard and NiMh AAA batteries is a "plus". Making it possible for you to change batteries anytime you want. Also the fact that the keys are backlit for a longer period of time so you can see clearly the buttons in the dark. Range is superior. Cons: the phones are small in my opinion. It doesn't look or feel like a quality phone. There's so many features I can't figure it all out. It's just too complicated but I suppose you could. The sound on the speaker phone is so soft I have to buy an external extension device to use the speakerphone. Your redial capacity is only 5 entries. And finally navigating through all the features such as your phone book your redial your CID numbers take a long time to access because of all the button presses you got to make. This cordless Panasonic phone is perfect in every aspect.
This Panasonic phone was easy to set up. The sound quality is good, and the large buttons make it easier to dial out. We like the display showing the number of calls (messages) received while out. DO NOT CALL Registry is Worthless, Let The Phone Block Them.
Cordless phones continue to evolve. This one has a handy button to banish 150 unsolicited callers. I know it works because I got the same caller, and the phone identified them as haveing been blocked. This phone also anounces callers, but I usually pick up before it can announce them. Luckily the callers number is displayed on the screen.
