A very flexible and well constructed, as would be expected by the brand name. However, I have owned cheaper brands and they have not stood the test of time and use well. So I thought it was time to bite the bullet and splash out the extra money for a quality brand. Only time and use will tell if it was worth the money. The drill and all the attachments seem to be of good quality and fit well although I have not had time to use them all yet I will soon be addressing this next month when I have a new project to start.

I've burnt out three of the older style craft-work Dremels because I have used them for heavy use on a boat. This looks so much better, and the kit with the accessories and the two batteries is good value.

It's a dremel, so you expect it to be a solid tool which it is. But actually three buts. 1. No matter how good dremmel is compared to all the others, it is TO expensive. 2. I know it makes financial sense to sell the myriad of parts to the public but the hundreds of tiny parts are to me and ALL of the people I know just plain crazy. 3. Here is an idea, put all the TINY bits in a small CARDBOARD box, and the dremel wrapped in thick brown paper instead of that ridicules great box, that really does not impress us the customer it is completely useless nobody after the first week keeps it in it, no box equals lower price everibodys happy. I make hand made Bush knifes and sheaths, so I know you have to charge for quality but hay .

Dremel tools and kits are always expensive, but I think that the quality justifies the price. I like the cordless version for convenience, and it is decently powerful for a small tool. I found with my previous cordless Dremel that after many cycles the battery will not hold charge and you have to buy a replacement. That is a problem with all battery-powered tools, rather than being a Dremel-specific issue. However, you have to remember to buy sufficient spare batteries before they go out of production, and Dremel batteries are expensive.

I should have bought one years ago, great for getting into those difficult places, plenty of power and great selection of tools
