Easy Post
I bought this for my son (who has Cerebral Palsy), and just moved in to his own flat to live independently. Due to his CP - and being a full-time wheelchair user - picking mail off the floor is tricky, even with his "Helping Hand"! There isn't room for an internal cage behind the letterbox as it would restrict the door opening! This box is prefect! Easy to fix to the wall, though we decided not to use the screws provided, but to use a less aggressive "screw-free" alternative, as it's not outside the building, so isn't likely to get pulled off or facing the elements of our weather!! As this box is lightweight it was easy to fix to the required height. It comes with two keys, so there's always a spare if needed! The front opening is wide enough to assess the mail easily.. The cost is very reasonable - another box "ticked"! Lightweight and value for money
Although accepted as lightweight, metal thin. Description of 'large letter mailbox is misleading without size of letter flap being given. Due to depth not easy to insert mail, and will only take DL or A5 letters that are 'bendable'. A4 envelopes will need folding, due to depth and width of insertion/letter flap. Fixing needs more thought
I found it difficult to establish how to change the paper in the name window . Using a hand held screw driver through the top letter slot need 3 hands ? Be better if it had a better way to fix it like screw into the wall then slide box over themVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
