Mosquitoes don't stand a chance!
I have the large 1-acre size Dynatrap for the front yard, but I needed the 1/2-acre size for the back yard so I bought this one. It is easy to use, light enough to hang anywhere, and has a decorative look to it. Broken Tabs on Delivery
There are 3 sections to the product. The top part houses the bulb, the middle part has the fan and the lower part is the catcher. The lower section is held to the middle section by pegs and is easy to twist off. They did not do that to attach the middle to the upper part Instead, they are held together by 3 plastic tabs. 2 of the 3 tabs were broken on arrival so the fan section did not stay attached to the bulb section. It was thin cheap plastic that probably would have broken after a few times separating the sections anyway. Tried duct tape but that did not hold it because of the weight and the vibration of the fan. Now trying plastic zip ties to create a cradle, but not sure if that will be a long tern solution. If I just wanted to sit it on the deck, it would probably work, but hanging it is another story. I would not buy this product again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best fly catcher on the market.
I have had the 1 acre Dynatrap for over a year, and bought this 1/2 acre Dynatrap for a gift. I can't say that it totally rids your yard of mosquitos, because I still have mosquitos hiding in the flower beds. It has cut down on the number of mosquitos, just not eliminated them. But it does get rid of flies! I have had NO problem with flies since plugging it in. So personally I would buy it just for that purpose.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seems to work as advertised. Of course, nothing is going to get every mosquito but this seems to get a lot of them. Would recommend to anyone with a big mosquito problem. My only negative remark is that bees can also get trapped in this thing, and we need bees.
