I had a small Pinewood shelf that had a green stain on it (something had leaked !). I used this wood bleach and nothing much happened. I repeatedly soaked the wood over three days and the wood certainly went white but the stain was still evident. Eventually I washed it off and used a well known domestic bleach (OK, it was Domestos). The stain was gone in about an hour. I should have used the domestic product in the first place. I was disappointed that the purpose-built product was so ineffective on my particular problem. Other stains on other types of wood may suit it better of course.

I’ve sanded my table several times so it should work pretty well. After one coat it did nothing, after three coats it lightened it very slightly. . The table felt chalky and rough after using the bleach. I might have to do a few more coats to see if it improves. The product is ok but not amazing.

The product is not what I am used to using, it takes many applications to remove the stains/dark colour in wood and when the surface is wet the dark wood is still very visable
