Great Make Sure You Get the Product Sold From the U.K., Not the USA.
This is much better than what we normally get in the USA. I have had the razor for about 3 years, with many replacement foil/cuuters; but they all gave me razor burn, didn't cut very close, and took me an hour with multple passes to get something close to a clean shave. With this, no razor burn, a closer shave (an hour after shaving, and I still could not feel the beard, even stroking against the grain. Buy this from the UK, and make sure you order EAN 0074590519150, not another EAN or ASIN. This is made in China, but made to Remington's standards and specifications for Europe, not the US. Cutomers in Europe have much higher quality expectaions than here in the USA. It takes a while if you have it shipped the least expensive way, which is UK Royal Mail, for £4.50 ($5.75 -USD when I bought it,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seems to need frequent replacement
I have been using electric shavers for over 40 years and in that time I have tried several differnt makes and models. In my experience, the Remington F5800 foil needs replacing much more frequently than any other brand I have used. The price is reasonable, hence my rating for value, but I feel that the material used for the foil means it wears too quickly I am seriously considering changing brand to overcome the problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Precision Product
This is the third set of replaceable SPF-300 Titanium Foil Heads that I have purchased for my F7800 Remington shaver. I have owned this shaver for approximately four years and from the day I started using it I have never had a wet shave since. These fools last over two years and considering that I shave every day, I consider this as good as you can get. Once a set of the foils has worn out I immediately order a new set, then they are at hand to replace the the worn set. I wish I had purchased this a long time ago, my razor is like new and I am thinking of buying a second one to store for the future. I recommend it and having read some other comments about similar items being noisy and not as good quality as the original. I say now, yes sometimes the replacement item is not as good as the original, but this one definitely is. Adequate, rather than great, replacement

A much smoother shave.
The new foil and cutter has made the razor so much quieter and gives a much better shave. After a couple of years of use the cutters lose their edge and become noisy so it makes sense to renew them.
