Great for plastic bumper repairs
I have used this product before to repair the rear bumper on my car, which had some spider web cracks on the side of it, and the repair has held up three years on. I have now completed the repair to the front bumper where the plastic cracked at the top like a V shape. I cut grooves along the cracks and drilled the ends of them to prevent further cracking, before filling with the plastic bumper filler. Once dried after 20 minutes I sanded the filler smooth ready for primer. The repair looks great, once the paint and lacquer have dried fully I will refit the bumper to my car and see how the repair holds out long term. Perfect for plastic repairs.
I am renovating a 1991 Toyota Supra Mk3. Both bumpers were in a very sorry state, deeply pitted. But with much patience and 3 boxes of sachets the work is done and the car looks good. The product is easy to work with, cures quickly, sometimes too quickly but you don't have to mix a whole sachet each time, mix as little as you need and tape the sachet. Very good filler. Common sense use in the repair, don't use too much hardener (only a smidge), a little sanding and wack on some paint. My son couldn't identify my repair, following the 10cm2 multi scratch he made in the front bumper, while on a camping holiday in France. I've also found that the filler is very could as a general adhesive and have used it as DIY in the house.
