Neutron will Blow your Mind!
Only used it for a few weeks now but Wow! Its great sounding, fun to twist knobs, and plug up patch cables. Best deal for the buck out there. Perfect for any set up. Easy to upgrade and use. At this price, just get it!
This is a pretty superb synth, especially at this price. It does have the sound of Curtis 3340 oscillators, so it's brighter and punchier like a Sequential synth rather than a Moog. Personally, I bought this to beef up the sound of my Arp Axxe. I can play the Axxe and control the Neutron via the gate, trigger, and CV signals. But, it's also a great synth on its own--capable of a wide range of sounds and complex modulation. And it's shockingly inexpensive! Get one!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Neutron!.. Behringer's new classic must have
I dont leave reviews unless I absolutely love or hate something. I bought a Neutron as a gift for a keyboardist. I play drums and have played with it as much if not more. I have to say that Behringer has made a classic with the Neutron. Yes its "just same old curtis chips"... but with an architecture that really gives that classic sound new definition(s) and much more room for various functionality than similar units compared to. Top it off with with a nice overdrive and a bucket brigade delay!.. Also, tons of cv and midi options. Nice little app for the operator. Only gripe so far really is the fine tunes for the oscs are super sensitive while the mix is in middle of them and very close as well as stiff so it is easy to hit osc out of tune when not wanting to. So...Gentle! Easy there! Lol. That said still much more room for fingers than boutiques and most semi mod units out there. All in all.. Freaking Awesome
This product feels speaks of the quality of Behringer. I love the oscillators, the filter, and the overdrive section. This synth has some very interesting functions t that you usually don't see in a semi-modular analog synth including sample and hold, overdrive, and delay. This synth is designed so intuitively that you can be playing with it in the dark and still find the right knob that you are looking for after only about a week of owning it. It is incredible. Saving me from traveling down the EuroCrack path
Initially I was confused by the VCA being routed through the drive circuitry, and supposedly the delay can never be perfectly dry, but I've always wanted sweeping rather than stepping waveform selection (and can now select between the two including on the LFO). The patchbay was the other big selling point and has opened all kinds of possibilities along with talking to my other Eurorack compatible gear. I enjoy the bold color scheme and some knob switching has made the controls make more sense, so I just need to add some subtle labels for the alternate function keys rather than spend $45 on a custom skin.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Luscious dreamscapes...
In 10-15 years people will wish they bought this Neutron. It's creates amazing soundscapes, drones, and just about anything. True two Curtis filters, and without patching is still self oscillates.
